Daily Expense Tracker Is Now on Android
Daily Expense Tracker now has a free Android app on Google Play. Same account, same data, synced with the web app — here's what that means and how to get started.
Daily Expense Tracker Is Now on Android
The best time to log an expense is the moment you pay. The chai, the auto fare, the grocery run — if it doesn't go in right away, it usually doesn't go in at all.
That's why Daily Expense Tracker is now available as a free Android app on Google Play.

Same Account, Same Data
There's no new account to create and nothing to migrate. Sign in to the Android app with the account you already use on the web, and everything you've tracked so far is already there:
- Your transactions, categories and wallets
- Your budgets, EMIs and recurring subscriptions
- Your net worth and reports
Add an expense on your phone and it shows up on your laptop. Fix a category on the web and it's fixed on your phone. It's one account, kept in sync across every device you use.
Why an App When There's Already a Web App?
The web app isn't going anywhere — it's still the best place for heavier work like importing a bank statement or reviewing a month of spending on a big screen.
The Android app is for everything else — the small, everyday moments:
- One tap from your home screen. No opening a browser and finding the tab.
- Log it before you forget. Add the expense while you're still standing at the counter.
- Check before you spend. See how much of this month's budget is left before you buy.
If you installed Daily Expense Tracker as a PWA (the "Add to Home Screen" shortcut) on Android before, you can switch to the Play Store app. Your data comes with you, because it lives in your account and not on your phone.
Getting Started in Under a Minute
- Open the Google Play listing and tap Install.
- Open the app and sign in with your existing account, or create a free one.
- Add today's first expense.
That's it. If you're new to tracking, our guide to 5 simple steps to track daily expenses is a good place to start.
What About iPhone?
There's no native iOS app yet. On iPhone and iPad you can still install Daily Expense Tracker straight from Safari: open the web app, tap Share, then Add to Home Screen. It runs on the same account and stays in sync with Android and the web.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is the Android app free?

Do I need a new account?

Will my existing data show up?

Can I use both the app and the website?
